Compact chain feeder for full edge processing
Specially developed for workshops with limited available space yet with highest quality requirements, the new Felder G 263 edgebander offers convincing performance, precision and an excellent price-performance ratio. Components and units that have been tried and tested for years in the Felder series edgebanders are now harmoniously integrated into the new, appealing machine design of the G 263. On a total length of only 112.20" (2.7 m), a premilling unit, an infrared preheating zone, a glueing unit, guillotine and end trimming unit, a multifunctional trimming unit for flush, bevel and radius trimming, a surface and radius scraping unit as well as a buffing unit for high-quality processing including super finish all ensure perfectly finished workpieces in zero-joint quality.
The perfect coordination of all components completely eliminates the need for manual postprocessing. The persuasive results are perfect workpieces, optimised workflow and increased productivity - Felder G 263 - a worthwhile investment for small workshops with the highest demands.

Highlights & Details
Upper pressure bar
The patented height adjustment of the upper pressure bar is carried out using a handle. On the large scale, you can easily read off the set measurement. The feed height can be adjusted from 10 - 45 mm by means of a newly developed quick change adjustment.
Infeed fence
Innovative - the Felder G 263 can be quickly adjusted to the required chip removal via four predefined locking positions on the solid infeed fence (0 / 0.5 / 1 and 2 mm).
Operating panel with LCD display and keypad
The individual machine aggregates can be switched on and off easily from the clearly laid out control panel.

Edge feed
0.4 - 2 mm coiled material can be processed. The synchronised, mechanical edge feed ensures an optimal feed of the material.
Premilling unit
Two counter rotating, activation controlled premillers with diamond tipped spiral cutters ensure first class edges to which the material is to be applied. With the premilling unit you will achieve chip free edges when processing laminated material.
Infrared heating lamp
The activation controlled, high-quality infrared quartz heating lamp heats the edge surface before the panel reaches the glueing unit ensuring maximum process reliability of the edge adhesion, especially with cold workpieces.
Glue roller and gluepot
The knurled glue roller ensures an even application of glue to the workpiece. The 1 kg gluepot provides sufficient glue capacity.
Pre- and end trimming with the guillotine unit
The two independent trimming units ensure precise pre- and end trimming at the workpiece.
Pressure roller
The pressure unit consists of a large roller with a second post pressure roller. These 2 pressure rollers provide a better pressing of the edging material against the workpiece. The entire unit is mechanically spring loaded and can be adjusted quickly and easily using the Felder "Quick-Set" System. This ensures a perfect join between the edge material and the workpiece.
Multifunctional trimming unit
The biggest advantage of the combination unit is the considerably short machine length. Adjustment of the settings from flush to bevelled finish for thin edges and also radius trimming is quick and easy. 2 mm radius tooling is included as standard.
Finishing units: radius scraper, glue scraper, buffing unit
With a gentle pulling cut, the radius scraper removes any "chatter marks" left by the radius cutter and ensures a perfect, smooth "finish".
The light scraping function of the surface scraper knives removes all glue residue from the glue joint on the workpiece surface. One more step towards the perfect and completely finished workpiece.
The buffing unit is made up of two independent electric motors, which are equipped with cotton buffers. The task of the buffing unit is to clean and polish the top and bottom part of the edge. Super finish for ABS and PVC edging material.
