Combination sanding unit
The combination unit with a roller diameter of 125 mm is used for the calibration of solid wood. The electro-pneumatic sanding pad is lowered on to the workpiece at the exact correct height for the sanding process. This prevents veneered surfaces from being sanded through, at the front and rear.

Feed speed
Machine operators can choose between two feed speeds, 4 and 8 m/min. If necessary, the speed can also be adjusted during the sanding process.
Adjustment of the aggregatesAdjusting of the aggregates, the feed speed and sanding depth can be carried out quickly, simply and accurately all from the control panel. A particular highlight is the digital grain compensation which does not require the machine to be opened. Using a switch on the control panel the machine can be set to the correct sanding belt grain or set to sand using the sanding shoe.
Belt guidanceThe belt guidance system assesses the workpiece using a lightbeam and activates the electro-pneumatic belt guidance system, which adjusts the belt fowards and backwards.
The belt control system regulates the running of the belt with electronically guided photo cells.Should the belt be at risk of coming loose, the belt control system cuts the belt motor immediately.

Infeed belt
