Like all planers from Felder, the AD 741 can also be equipped with the revolutionary Silent-Power® spiral cutterblock guaranteeing optimal working conditions by halving the noise emissions.

Height adjustment of the planer tablePlaning accuracy to .004” with the use of a handwheel and with intergrated digital display. Max. planing height 9,1” (230 mm).
Power-DriveThe fully electrical “Power-Drive” planer table control offers the most precise adjustment and repeat accuracy. With a twist of the knob, you can quickly adjust the planing height, then fine-adjust using the button. An integrated LED-display displays the actual value.
2 stage gearSimple choice for the fad drive. Speeds of 20 ft /min. and 40 ft. /min. As an option, the machine can be equipped with a reversing controller. To control the dust extractor system, connect it to a potential-free contact. This option automatically turns on your dust extractor.
Perfect technology2 spring loaded pressure bars prevent chattering of very thin workpieces during planing.
Stability for high performanceThe solid cast iron cutter-block housing is built for heavy duty work.
The serrated steel infeed roller and micro-serrated steel outfeed roller ensure a smooth transport of the workpiece through the machine. Both steel rollers are well dimensioned and are non-wearing.
