Blastgate SHUTR – Smart electrically operated sliders

The SHUTR Gate is a professional electric slider designed for use in dust extraction systems or other industrial applications. The slider can be used on its own or in conjunction with a remote control or a sensor within a SHUTR Connect network. A SHUTR Controller or Sensor is required to set up a SHUTR Connect network. The slider is available for various diameters of industry-standard pipes. The body is made of galvanised steel and the electronics housing is made of robust polycarbonate; it is ATEX-compliant and IP54-rated. Supplied with a 24 V DC wall-mounted adapter (EU version).

 

Sensor Installation

The sensor is powered via a USB wall adapter or can be connected to the slider. The slider has a USB-A port to supply the sensor with 5 VDC. This saves the need for an extra socket for the adapter. However, the sensor continues to communicate wirelessly with the other components in the SHUTR Connect network.

Connect an external switch to the slider

You can operate the slider yourself: use a 3.5 mm plug (standard) to connect any switch (or a relay or a dry contact) to open and close the slider.
