Description

SHUTR sensor for use in a SHUTR Connect network. The sensor is clamped onto the power cable of a processing machine and detects whether the machine is switched on. The sensor can be coupled with one or more SHUTR gates (sliders). The sensitivity can be set using the SHUTR Connect app. See the Sensor+ -option for connecting up to 4 sliders. If you have more than 4 sliders and/or wish to control the dust extractor, you will need a SHUTR controller. Power supply (5 VDC) via a 4-metre USB cable. Supplied with a USB-A wall-mount adapter with two ports.

Sensor functions

  • Dual HALL sensor for increased sensitivity
  • Option to adjust the sensitivity using the SHUTR Connect app
  • The switch works in a similar way to the switch on the slider to which it is linked (OPEN/CLOSE/AUTOMATIC)
  • Wireless communication, range up to 100 metres
  • Power supply via the slider or a USB-A adapter

Sensor+ option

  • The sensor acts both as a sensor and as a configuration manager to set up a small SHUTR Connect network
  • A maximum of four (4) sliders can be linked
  • Supports up to 8 components
  • Configure using the SHUTR Connect app
  • Ideal for a single automated slider fitted with a sensor on the machine. Or a small workshop that doesn’t need an automated dust extraction system.

The Sensor+ option is activated by connecting the SHUTR Connect app to a sensor via bluetooth.
If you wish to control the dust extractor, you will need a SHUTR controller.
