Due to the smart zoning vacuum control, the vacuum zones can be switched to either fully automatic or manual control and activated based on the workpiece size. Furthermore, the areas 1 to 6 can be used to place and process individual parts of variable sizes. The bumper safety technology allows you to have direct access to the CNC machining centre, without compromising work safety. Numerous sensors inside the padded bumpers record every touch and reliably protect you in potentially dangerous situations by an immediate program stop.

Details

With a motor power of 9 kW and up to 24,000 rpm, the main motor is controlled using an inverter and is attached directly to the Z axis. Dual linear guides guarantee highly precise vertical guiding. The main motor is positioned using ground ball screws. The HSK F63 tool clamping is done automatically. The clamping of the tool is checked using sensors, which then confirm that it is safe to start the operation. The tool holder is cleaned pneumatically.

Smart Zoning offers the quick processing of several panel formats of 3090mm x 2100mm (7"x10"), 3090mm x 1530mm (5"x10"), 2500mm x 1250mm (4"x8"). It is possible to quickly change from one panel format to another.

The dual side driven portal design (‘gantry’) guarantees maximum precision and repeatability of your machining operations.
The rack and pinion drive in the X and Y direction ensures maximum traverse speeds for the shortest processing times and tool changing times.

The tool length is measured precisely and fully automatically on the machine. The value determined is automatically stored and transferred to the F4Toolbox tool database. Cylindrical routing cutters up to Ø 80 mm can be measured.

The 19 position linear tool changer ensures quick changeover times, minimises compressed air usage and offers more than adequate space for tools.

Grease is pneumatically delivered to the lubrication points of the X, Y and Z axes at controlled intervals, as specified in the machine control system. The integrated progressive distributor ensures constant grease quantities and prevents excessive lubrication of the bearings.

Nesting machining center featuring a solid, vibration-optimized machine frame. The electro-welded steel construction, with its specially designed ribbing, ensures exceptional stability and minimizes vibrations even at high processing speeds.
