The new Felder edgebanders G 363, G 363R and G 383 with robust chain conveyors and application-controlled premilling unit in the standard version impress with their performance, flexibility and ease of use at the best price-performance ratio.
With the usual high level of Felder operating convenience, it takes just a few simple steps to adjust the machine to different materials or edge thicknesses between 0.4-5 mm. Start processing units, regulate glue temperature and receive feedback on the current machine status via the 7" touch screen.
Ensure valuable productivity by being able to fully machine workpieces up to a thickness of 50 mm without having to compromise on customised features. The new edgebander models G 363, G 363R or G 383 can be individually configured to meet your needs thanks to the Felder modular system - from the Teflon-coated interchangeable glue pot to spraying units for cleaning and release agents.

Details
Constant workpiece feed with a chain unit and spiral shape feed rollers, leave no marks on the workpiece surface of high quality laminated materials. The click system guarantees quick and easy replacement any worn plastic pads.
The round and flat shaft guides ensure that the workpieces are guided straight through the machine without tilting.
Adjustment to the respective panel thickness from 10 - 50 mm is done quickly and precisely using the handwheel and the readout display. The spindle adjustment guarantees optimum hold and maximum precision.
The individual machine aggregates can be switched on and off easily from the clearly laid out touch screen display.

Two counter rotating, activation controlled premillers with diamond tipped spiral cutters ensure first class edges to which the material is to be applied. With the premilling unit you will achieve splinter-free edges when processing laminated material.
Coiled materials of 0.4-3mm in thickness and solid wood edge strips up to 5 mm thickness can be processed in single feed with 10 to 50 mm edge height. The synchronised, mechanical edge feed ensures an optimal feed of the material.
For the pretrimming of coiled material up to 3 mm in edge thickness.
The Teflon-coated gluepot has a capacity of 1.2 kg and lasts for approx. 250 linear metres on a 19 mm panel. The short heat-up time of just 12 minutes and the fine-adjustable application roller ensure correct dosing of the hot-melt adhesive and enable perfect adjustment to different edgebanding materials.
As an equipment option, an interchangeable gluepot can be installed, which can be changed quickly and easily. The quick and easy change to other adhesive colours and the use of PUR glue guarantee productive procedures and excellent edges for all areas of application.
The pressure unit consists of a large roller with a second post pressure roller. These 2 pressure rollers provide a better pressing of the edging material against the workpiece. The entire unit is mechanically spring loaded and can be adjusted quickly and easily using the Felder "Quick-Set" System. This ensures a perfect join between the edge material and the workpiece.
The end trimming unit with high precision linear guides ensure perfect cuts. The saw blades rotate at 9,000 rpm and guarantee perfect cutting results of the highest quality. The motor is equipped with 2 conical saw blades, which prevent the lateral edge from scratching even when cutting fragile materials.
In the standard version of the G363R, the radius trimming unit ensures corner rounding of up to 2 mm. With thin edging materials, a slight radius ensures a perfect finish for edge corners.
A "super-finish" for ABS and PVC edgeband materials, removing any colour differences, especially in the case of dark edgeband materials.
G 383
No time consuming post processing of the workpiece! The corner rounding unit handles the "finish" of workpiece corners (including soft-forming or post-forming materials) for edge material from 0.4 to 3 mm and 50 mm processing height at a feed rate of 7 m/min. The solid construction as well as linear guides and TC moulders ensure long-lasting precision. The corner rounding unit is controlled using the touch screen.

The radius trimming unit of the G363R can also be fitted as an optional extra. It impresses with 12,000 rpm and even more flexibility thanks to its radius saw blades, allowing even thin materials to be finished and provided with a slight radius on the front edge
