Modern CNC woodworking with individual flexibility as efficient and simple as possible - the new CNC processing centre profit H500 MT puts industrial use in the centre point of an innovative operating concept.

34 tool positions included in the standard equipment offer a wide range of processing options. The large dimensioned matrix table made from phenolic resin guarantees secure processing of workpieces of any material and size due to optimal vacuum distribution.

The machine is equipped with an aluminium table as standard, which allows individual mechanical clamping systems allowing any type of workpiece or template to be fixed to the machine.

The in-house developed software with clear menu guidance and intuitive operating concept makes programming simple.

Details

The simple design of the control panel and the clearly laid out menu guidance of the software control with a Windows based system, is intuitive in its operation. Connecting the machine control to existing systems or networks is of course possible. The H500 MT can be connected with various different CAD and CAM software. As an option, a label printer can also be added.

The stops can be build on the front or rear upon request. This ensures maximum operating comfort and additional flexibility when processing workpieces. On automatic machines the continuous fences ensures a steady off load on to the conveyor belt.

The drilling head with 18 drilling spindles
  • 12 vertical drilling spindles, 32 mm distance between spindles: each can be used individually
  • 6 horizontal drilling spindles, spaced at 32 mm: 4 in the X and 2 in the Y axis, each can be used individually
  • Integrated slot cutter in the X-axis
  • Inverter controlled motor up to 7,500 rpm
  • Highlight: The complete working field can be covered by the drilling head for vertical and horizontal drilling.
  • The powerful 5 axes spindle with 12 or optionally 15 kW motor guarantees excellent results whilst milling, drilling and sawing at any angle. The special liquid cooling and high quality ceramic bearings ensure durable precision and incredible smoothness regardless of the material. An inverter regulates the speed and can be set at any speed up to 24.000 rpm.
    The matrix table made from phenolic resin offers not just process secure working of the materials, but also an optimal vacuum distribution for the fixing of workpieces. The maximum useable area is X=3720mm up to 5720mm, Y=1560mm, Z=325mm.

    A chip deflector mounted to the spindle controlled by the C-axis enables the unlimited use of existing tools. When machining the edge of a workpiece, dust and chips are directed into the extraction port.
    As standard the H500 MT offers an aggregate interface with a cardanic 5 axis head.

    Setting the parametres of your tools made easy: every tool length is stored in the tool database accurately to one hundredth of a millimetre.

    The 10 position linear tool changer ensures quick changeover times, minimises the compressed air requirement and offers ample space for milling tools and chip deflectors.

    The rotary tool changer with 24 tool positions is mounted at the back of the outrigger and moves with the outrigger along the X axis. The 24 position rotating tool changer, keeps tooling changing times to the bare minimum. This makes the Format4 even more productive!

    Air-permeable materials as well as small parts can be fixed with maximum holding force. Up to 750 m³/h.

    The phenolic resin table also enables the use of vacuum block pods. This gives the machine a whole new character and increases the variability considerably.

    The label printer for the H500 MT can be mounted to either the operating terminal of the unloading table or on the standard control terminal if there is no space for an unloading table. This makes the whole system flexible and allows it to be individually equipped.

    The high quality cog and rail drive of the X-axis with angled and cambered teeth guarantee high precision at maximum speed. The speed reduction gears guarantee a high level of repeatability. Sealed bearings: durable and highly precise recirculating ball bushings run on hardened and ground linear guides.

    The aggregate carrier with 2 Z-axes enables the quick, alternating use of the boring unit and the main spindle. The distance in which the Z-axes can move is 505 mm, this allows the use of longer tools even when processing thicker workpieces.

    All of the moveable axes are continuously automatically lubricated ensuring low-maintenance, reliability and constant operational readiness. The lubrication is time controlled and pneumatically engaged onto the lubricating points of the X-, Y- and Z- axes guides. The lubricating cycle is set by the controls of the axes.

    The 3D simulator enables accurate machining times to be calculated and an exact representation of travel distances, feed rate speeds, overtravel heights and optional equipment such as the 5-motion unit, chip deflectors, rotary tool changer and drilling head. The collision check tests whether any collisions could happen and guarantees the working safety on the machine. Through the allocation of the tool DXF profile, the contour of your router can be shown on the workpiece. Even when calibrating new tools, the DXF profile can be used which helps to reduce the amount of material use.
